Health impacts of lockdown are worrying

Joint research from the Mental Health Foundation and The Vitality Programme shared that 56% of people said they felt more stressed and anxious about work than previous to the pandemic - which rose to 72% and 64% respectively for the 18-24 and 24-35 age groups.

Lockdown and home working has increased physical issues including increased back and shoulder injuries and pain.

As we are overall exercising less obesity is on the up too, the same research found.

On average people are working from home 3 extra hours every week which doesn't bode well for health and wellbeing.

How can you take care of your health?

-Take a break to unwind, relax and recharge with reflexology, shiatsu or massage

-Massage also helps to reduce muscle tension and pain

-Hypnotherapy calms the mind, reduces anxiety and is effective for weight loss too
