One aim of reflexology is to create homeostasis: the organs in the body working together at their optimal level. The feet provide a map for the body’s organs. I can feel tension, crunchiness or sometimes a popping sensation on a reflex which suggests an imbalance in the corresponding organ or part of the body. I then apply pressure to the reflex to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.
Combining hypnotherapy with reflexology techniques can be more effective in stimulating our body’s relaxation response ...“Whatever happens in the mind influences the body and vice versa. In fact, mind and body cannot be considered individually, one from the other.”(Hippocrates).
Hypno-reflexology can help to promote deep feelings of relaxation which in turn relieves other symptoms you are experiencing.
I have ten years reflexology experience and three years clinical hypnotherapy experience. Since 2008 I’ve given reflexology to clients with insomnia, IBS, colitis, sinusitis, back, shoulder, neck and knee pain, infertility and general anxiety.
